Call For Submissions–This Is Your Turn To Shine

This is the official call for you to submit your writing or artwork on Minus Paper. As I have previously said, not everything that is sent will be accepted and posted, but you can rest assured that I will always be fair in deciding what is chosen to run and I will always be sure to credit the creator of each piece.

Please know that I do not wish to publish anything that is blatantly racist, sexist, homophobic, or critical of others merely because of who they are. Perhaps my political leanings should not inform the choices I make, but they do, so there you have it.

The ball is in your court now. All it takes is the will and the decision to send what you want to see published here.

You can send your work via the Comments section on here or email them to

Thanks For Your Encouragement

To those of you who are the first to be told about this site, I want to thank you so very much for all of your encouragement and for saying that you will indeed be submitting some of your work. I look forward to reading it and sharing it with others.

I truly believe this is the way art and literature will be shared today and, increasingly, in the future. It’s almost as if you can feel the tectonic shift taking place as we move from the page to the computer screen!

Again, thanks for all of your kindness and for being my friends and partners in this endeavor.

The Purpose Of Minus Paper

What is this site all about? Well, it is my hope that it will become an online literary journal which will attract new fiction, poetry, short stories, and other original creations.

I will be doing some of the writing here, but not all of it……which leads me to…

This: I hope you will submit your own work for consideration on this site. I do not promise to post everything that is submitted, but please know that I will be fair and open-mined with each submission. Also, please know that I cannot pay you. But this will get your work seen by others and could even lead to a publishing deal in the future. We can all hope for such good fortune.

Just so you know, the official start date for this site is December 1, 2015, so if you have comments or suggestions, please feel free to let me know. Also, you can submit your work here as soon as you wish, starting right…NOW!
